● About
Community Outreach
Individuals experiencing homelessness often rely on the companionship of their pets for emotional support and companionship. However, common behavioral issues in pets and reduced access to basic care can create significant barriers to both temporary and permanent housing solutions. Furthermore, the health and well-being of these animals are often at risk due to limited access to resources.
Haider’s Paws Forward seeks to launch local outreach programs across North Texas to support the population of individuals experiencing homelessness and their pets to create a more inclusive world for people with pets, regardless of their circumstances.

Paws Forward Volunteers
At HPF, we seek to provide resources, veterinary care, and education for the pets of individuals who are currently homeless. A pet is sometimes the only companionship an individual facing homelessness has and the last connection to a stable life. We seek to ensure pets can be taken care of alongside their owners, regardless of their situation.
At a community outreach event, you can help:
Be a source of happiness and joy to individuals facing homelessness.
Help provide key resources such as: bedding, food, toys, shelter, and other supplies.
Partner alongside local nonprofit organizations to provide additional support for these individuals.
